We had a lovely day yesterday exploring the Frome Independent market with a view to selling there in the future. A couple of stallholders we spoke to were very enthusiastic about this wonderful venue and I now feel sure its the right place for Keylime to trade. All I need to do is make my way up the waiting list!
The market was absolutely buzzing with activity - helped along by the fantastic weather! Primarily we had come to see the contemporary designer and makers stalls which were positively glittering with lovely things to buy at very reasonable prices but there was so much more! Traders selling gorgeous plants, flowers and gardenalia, 'suitcase' stalls filled with delightful prints, jewellery and dollies clothes to name just a few, music by young local bands, fresh organic produce as well as a plethora of independent coffee shops, galleries and boutiques to wonder in to. Delicious smells meant we just had to follow our noses until we came upon the food stalls and a million culinary delights - wonderful vegetarian scotch eggs for lunch and a cow pie to take home for No.1 son's dinner.
And then of course there's the antique and flea market to explore. A treasure trove of wonderful unique finds for the home but you've got to be quick! Sadly, we were pipped at the post for a lovely cast iron garden table and chairs - better luck next time.

Gorgeous designs applied to a multitude of useful items for the kitchen by one of the independent shops on Catherine Hill, Beyond The Fridge. I simply have to have one of their magnetic notice boards for my studio!
And fabulous t-towels by Hector and Haddock… So bight and jolly!
